WAAI Co-Founders Interviewed by The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe spoke with Women Applying AI Co-Founders Luda Kopeikina and Pam Boiros, along with WAAI Founding Member Beth Rochefort, to explore the growing movement empowering women to lead with AI. With women holding fewer that 14% of the senior AI leadership roles and making up 86% of the workers most at risk from AI disruption, the stakes are high. WAAI is on a mission to change that, offering free online programs and in-person networking events for women at all stages of their AI journey. In just 6 months since the official launch in September 2025, WAAI has become a thriving community of 1,500+ members internationally. As Luda puts it, “Inherently, by being a half of humanity, women are in it. It’s a question of learning…, applying and leading.”
